General
What is PestSheet?
An iPhone and Android app for independent pest control technicians and small businesses. You record each visit on site (products, pests, areas, photos and signature), and PestSheet builds your state's pesticide application record and a PDF report for the client.
When does it launch?
The app is built and in testing; it isn't in the App Store or Google Play yet. People on the waitlist get it first.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Everything is saved on your phone first: clients, visits, products, photos and signatures. You can complete a visit in a basement or on a rural route and send the report when you're back in coverage.
How long does setup take?
About 2 minutes. A guide asks where your business works (United States, Mexico or Colombia), about you and your business, and your licenses: what goes on every report. You can finish it later in More > Business profile, but visits can't be completed without those details. Want to look around first? Explore with sample data and remove it from More any time.
Is it available in Spanish?
Yes. The app, client reports and records work in English and Spanish; you pick the language in the app. Text a rule fixes word for word (for example the required New Jersey sentences or the California notice) is printed exactly as the rule says, in English.
Records and compliance
Which states does it check records for?
49 states and the District of Columbia. For each, PestSheet knows the fields the application record asks for and won't let you complete a visit with one missing. New Hampshire uses the general template for now. See what each state asks for in the state guides.
Does PestSheet guarantee I comply with the law?
No. The templates are based on our reading of each state's official rules at a given date, which we publish in each guide with its source. Rules change and may ask for more than the app checks. Meeting them is still your responsibility, and nothing on this site is legal advice.
Do I have to leave the visit to add a product?
No. In the visit, tap Add product and search your products or the catalog of 19,776 active EPA registrations by name, active ingredient or registration number, or scan the label. The product you pick is applied on the visit and saved to your products. The catalog and label scanning are for U.S. businesses.
What if I pick a manufacturing-use product?
It can't be applied. Manufacturing-use and technical products are registered to make other products, not to be applied in the field, so PestSheet marks them in search and keeps them off the record.
How do I know what's missing before I complete a visit?
Above the Complete visit button you see how many items are left. Tap See list to get everything still needed at once, by your state's or country's rules, and each item takes you to the field to fill in.
Does PestSheet recommend products or doses?
No. It records what you applied, with the amount and rate you enter. Product selection, mixing and application are your call and the label's. The EPA catalog only fills in the registration number and active ingredients.
Can I fix a completed visit?
Yes, with an amendment. Completed visits are locked; a correction is added as an amendment with a trail, never as a silent edit. That is what a legal record should look like.
Account and data
Do I need an account? Where is my data?
An account is optional. Without one, everything you enter stays only on your phone. With one, we keep a cloud backup so you can restore it and use it on more than one device. No ads, no cross-app tracking, and we don't sell data. Details in the privacy policy.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: More > Account & subscription > Delete account. If you can't sign in, use the Delete account page. Cancel your subscription in the App Store or Google Play first.
I have a few technicians. Will it work for a team?
It's built for the technician in the field first: each tech uses it on their own phone. You can add team members with their license and pick who applied on each visit or product. A shared view for owners with a crew doesn't exist yet.
Pricing
What's in the free plan?
Unlimited drafts and 5 completed visits a month. Reports of completed visits can always be viewed and shared, even if you don't pay. See the plan comparison.
How does the free trial work?
PestSheet Pro is $24.99/month or $199.99/year in the U.S. (planned prices), with a 7-day free trial. Apple or Google bills it and you cancel from your phone's subscription settings. Mexico and Colombia have prices in their own currency.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your reports can still be viewed and shared, without your logo. You go back to the free plan.
