Not legal advice. This summarizes our research of the official rule, checked October 2, 2026. Rules change and may require more than what is listed here: confirm with the official text or with the agency (Arkansas State Plant Board).
What the record must include
- A complete record of all work performed (the law gives no itemized list for general-use products)
- Copies of all contracts issued
Also for restricted use pesticides (RUP)
- Kinds of pesticide
- Amounts
- Uses
- Dates
- Addresses of the applications
How long to keep it
2 years.
Termites, fumigation and other cases
- A contract before treatment is required only for termite work (classification 1).
How PestSheet covers it in Arkansas
For general use, the rule asks for no specific fields for the app to check; PestSheet still saves the full visit.
If you apply a restricted use product (RUP), it also checks:
- Amount applied
- Target pest
- Areas or sites treated
Also:
- Reminds you to keep records at least 2 years.
- Export the records of any period as PDF or CSV for an inspection (Pro).
The client's name and address, the service date and start time, and the applicator's name are always recorded. The app uses the Ark. Code Ann. §17-37-221(d) template. It doesn't check items the app doesn't record (for example active ingredients or equipment); those remain your responsibility.
What we could not confirm
- The law says monthly household pest reports 'may also be required'; we could not find a rule that puts this into effect.
